Cart-Mounted Plate Filter for Wine, Olive Oil, Beer & Spirits

The plate filter for wine is designed to quickly and easily separate suspended solids from the product, removing particulates to deliver greater clarity.

How the plate (sheet) filter works

These machines work by passing the liquid through porous media (filter sheets) of different grades, chosen according to the required step (e.g., roughing/clarification). Each grade has a pore size smaller than the particles to be removed.

This sheet filter is made in Italy, leveraging the experience of specialized technicians to bring the quality of professional equipment to small producers as well. The unit has an AISI 304 stainless-steel base supporting a wheeled frame (also stainless steel) fitted with 20 × 20 cm food-grade polypropylene plates. It includes a sampling tap and a pressure gauge for monitoring. The standard configuration is supplied without a pump; you can add an optional pump: a centrifugal version (best for wine or aqueous liquids without suspended solids) or a flexible rubber impeller version (suitable for must, wine, olive oil, beer and spirits).
