Insulated Refrigerated Isobaric Fermentation Tank - 3 bar
The isobaric fermenter is an essential tool for breweries dedicated to the production of high-quality beer. This type of tank uses an advanced technique that maintains constant internal pressure during fermentation while minimizing CO2 loss through a specially calibrated valve.
Isobaric fermentation significantly improves the brewery's production process, offering the following advantages:
- It reduces the risk of beer oxidation thanks to minimal exposure to oxygen.
- It ensures natural and uniform carbonation by using the CO2 produced during fermentation, which dissolves directly into the beer.
- It enhances the beer’s aromatic profile by retaining volatile compounds inside the fermenter, transferring them to the final product.
- It improves process efficiency, making fermentation more controllable and predictable.
- It enables highly specialized brewing techniques, especially beneficial for certain styles such as lagers, which require high levels of carbonation.
Our isobaric fermenters range from 3 to 20 hl capacity. They feature a 60° conical insulated bottom, domed top with manway, insulated cylinder with ball recirculation pipe, and are PED certified. This certification, in compliance with EU Directive 2014/68/EU, guarantees a pressure-rated vessel that has passed strict resistance tests during production.
