Repair of hydraulic jacks for wine presses
We perform repairs and complete overhauls of the hydraulic heads of wine presses.
The hydraulic press is a highly functional and convenient machine thanks to the system designed to exploit the principle of hydraulic pressure. In fact, it is characterized by extreme ease of use and great reliability.
However, from time to time, it is advisable to perform a general overhaul or repair the hydraulic jack. Therefore, we have decided to make the decades of experience of our technicians in the winemaking field and in the repair of these machines available to our customers.
Using our service, you can request repairs and periodically perform a complete overhaul of your jack to ensure its full functionality and prevent it from stopping in the middle of the process.
To complete the service, we provide our customers with our express courier, through which we can collect the product directly from your home!
How does the repair service work?
The first thing to do is contact us at assistenza@agristorecosenza.it, indicating the model of the product you own (David, Goliath, Rolex, etc.), the size (50, 60, etc.), the year of manufacture, and a detailed description of any problems encountered (photos are also recommended). If you would like to use our express courier, please also include your location.
We will then send you a complete quote based on the information you provide. Please note that the quote itself will be based solely on the information you provide, so our technicians may encounter additional problems upon arrival. In this case, we will contact you to indicate the additional work that will be necessary and the new total, giving us authorization to proceed or not. If you decide not to carry out the repair, we will ship the product back to you, and the costs will be limited to shipping from our company to your home (and from your home to the company, if you used our pickup service).
NB: The jack will be shipped after the amount due has been credited to our bank account.
How to find the year of construction?
Many customers ask this question. The year of manufacture of the jack is usually stamped on the left piston cylinder (the one on the pressure gauge side, to be clear) and is represented by two numbers, as you can see in the photo.
This will help us identify the type of spare parts needed (e.g., polyurethane or leather), allowing us to provide a more accurate and reliable quote.
Why service your hydraulic jack?
Our advice is to periodically perform complete maintenance on the jack. This is because, like all machines, there are parts subject to normal wear and tear resulting from its use. This can cause unexpected malfunctions in its operating capabilities (e.g., inability to reach pressure, pressure drop, etc.) and consequently enormous inconvenience if this were to occur during the processing phase, blocking the entire production activity.
It is therefore easy to understand how important periodic maintenance can be to maintain full machine efficiency and extend its life.
NB. On some types of jack, it will be impossible to perform a complete maintenance due to the difficulty in obtaining the necessary spare parts. This could occur on products other than the David type (for which we are an authorized service center) and on older models (e.g., Rolex).
What does the review include?
The complete overhaul of the hydraulic jack includes:
- complete cleaning of the machine;
- oil change;
- replacement of parts subject to wear (collars, collars, etc.);
- commissioning and testing for restored functionality.
After the overhaul, it will be like having a new product!
What does the review not include?
The standard jack overhaul does not include the replacement of any additional damaged components such as the pressure gauge, pump, exhaust assembly, pistons, etc.
As already mentioned, if any of these operations are necessary, you will be notified and the costs will be added to the overhaul. We will proceed with the work only after receiving your authorization.
How long does the repair take?
The expected time for a standard inspection is approximately 20 working days, which includes the time needed for transportation and processing. Therefore, we always recommend carrying out these operations in advance, keeping in mind the normal time required plus any unforeseen circumstances.
How to prepare the packaging for shipping
When preparing the shipment, be sure to place the product on a small pallet to allow you and the carrier to handle it easily. Don't forget to secure the product well so it can't move and to place material to protect any parts that could be damaged during transport (especially the pressure gauge).
NB: Only the jack should be placed on the pallet, excluding the ring, lever, and nut.

You will be the one to indicate the most convenient day for collection.
Once the work is complete, we will contact you and ship the jack after receiving the balance for the entire transaction on our current account via bank transfer.
NB: The product will not be shipped until the balance is received.
