Why use a bottle labeller

A labeller is not only useful for adding a finishing touch to your product, but it also allows you to personalise it just the way you want.

This way, you can create your own label according to your taste and easily apply it to the wine bottle using the labelling machine.

What types of bottles can be labelled

Labelling machines can be used with various types of wine bottles. We're not just talking about standard cylindrical bottles, but also more unique shapes. Here are a few examples:

• Bordeaux: cylindrical body, pronounced shoulder, and short neck. Approximately 30 cm tall with a 75 cl capacity. Variants include conical Bordeaux (more pronounced shoulders) and high-shoulder Bordeaux (also known as Bordeaux Golia), often used for premium red and white wines.
• Burgundy: pronounced base, cylindrical body, and long neck. About 31 cm tall with a 75 cl capacity.
• Rhine (Renana): narrow base and long neck. About 35 cm tall and holds 75 cl.
• Albeisa: cylindrical body, pronounced base, and short neck. 30 cm tall with a 75 cl capacity.
• Champagne: cylindrical body, very pronounced base, and long neck.

Types of bottle labelling machines

Labelling machines are typically classified into:

• Manual labeller;
• Semi-automatic labeller;

The first type is a fully manual machine. With this version, the labelling process is carried out by turning a handle (or lever, depending on the model).

The semi-automatic labeller features a mechanism that requires only placing the bottle and pressing the start button. The machine will then apply the label automatically, without further intervention.
