Sanavin Wine Deacidifier
AgriStore di Cosenza V.Sanavin is used in winemaking to reduce wine acidity, correcting sharp or unripe wines with an acetic taste. One 1 kg sachet treats 5–6 hL of wine.
Sanavin is a hygroscopic product that corrects excess acidity in wines. It does not impart bitter or otherwise unpleasant flavours to treated wines. On the contrary, it gives freshness and enhances the wine’s organoleptic profile. It does not alter the wine’s original colour.
The dosage can vary from 150 to 200 g/hL, with prior bench trials. Consider that 110 g/hL of Sanavin reduces the equivalent of 1 g/L of tartaric acid (EU limit).
How to use
Add slowly to the wine under agitation. Warning: this operation produces abundant foam, which subsequently disappears.
