Electric Malt Mill for Beer Brewing

The electric malt mill for beer brewing is the ideal tool for microbreweries with a production capacity of up to 250 litres per batch. Using it during the milling stage saves time and effort while delivering better results. The goal of this step is to obtain grain fragments with a maximum size of around 2 mm.

This mill crushes the kernel until it cracks without pulverising it, achieving the ideal grist size. Milling too coarse can lead to poor sugar extraction; milling too fine can prevent proper beer clarification and may clog the filter bed formed by the spent grains.

This design captures a larger amount of grain, even mixed cereals, with ease and keeps output consistent over time. In addition, the rollers have a smooth surface protected by a special treatment, helping the machine resist excessive wear over time while reducing dust and noise.

Another key advantage of this beer malt mill is the wide adjustment range and the ease of setting it: no spanners are required and there’s no need to remove guards. By operating the lever, you can move the rollers closer together or further apart to obtain a more or less crushed product, up to “cold rolling” (without cooking and drying, avoiding the loss of valuable nutrients), ensuring you moisten the grain first.
