Benchtop Plate Filter for Wine, Olive Oil, Beer & Spirits

The plate filter for wine is designed to quickly and practically separate suspended solids from the product, removing particulates to give the wine greater clarity.

How the plate filter works

The principle behind these machines is to pass the liquid through porous media (filter sheets) with different grades, selected according to the process required (e.g., roughing or clarification), with pore sizes smaller than the particles to be removed.

Quality for small producers

This sheet filter is made in Italy, drawing on the experience that specialized technicians have built over time. The goal is to offer professional-grade quality even to small producers.

Structurally, the machine has an AISI 304 stainless-steel base supporting a frame (also stainless steel) that houses 20 × 20 cm food-grade polypropylene plates for a 6-sheet filter pack. A pressure gauge is included for monitoring. The standard setup is supplied without a pump; an optional pump can be added—either a centrifugal version (best for wine or aqueous liquids without suspended solids) or a flexible rubber impeller version (suitable for must, wine, olive oil, beer and spirits).
