Semi-automatic isobaric filler with capper for bottles and cans
EnoitaliaThe LINEAR isobaric filling machine features a self-supporting stainless steel frame, complete with isobaric filling nozzles, castor wheels, and an integrated pressurized stainless steel tank. It includes a stainless steel control panel in compliance with EU CEE safety regulations.
Our semi-automatic isobaric filling-capping machine is the ideal solution for bottling and capping both bottles and cans with high efficiency and precision. Designed to ensure maximum product quality, it comes equipped with advanced functions such as air pre-evacuation using CO2, included as standard, to preserve the integrity of the contents.
Operating Principle
Preliminary information essential to understanding the filling cycle:
- The product temperature must be between 0 and -1°C. The machine’s storage tank is intentionally compact to minimize temperature loss. It is recommended to place the product feed tank as close as possible to the filler.
- The machine's cylindrical tank is equipped with a pressure switch, which measures the pressure of the supply tank (customer’s storage tank).
- The control panel allows you to monitor and adjust the following:
- Supply tank pressure
- Internal pressure of the bottle or container being filled
- Product temperature
- Pressure differential for initiating the filling process
- Number of CO2 pre-evacuations (set by the operator)
- Filling time
- Depressurization pressure
Through the control panel, you can set how many pre-evacuation cycles should be performed before filling. This process consists of flushing the container with CO2 to remove oxygen. The more pre-evacuations you perform, the better the oxygen is eliminated from the container.
After this, the machine allows you to set the pressure differential at which the product will be filled. This adds flexibility to the production process, allowing different filling pressures depending on the type of beer. For example, if a differential of 0.1 bar is set and the tank pressure is 1 bar, the filling will occur at 0.9 bar. If the tank pressure drops by 0.1 bar during filling, the machine will automatically adjust, filling at 0.8 bar instead—ensuring consistent and accurate filling pressure.
Bottles are placed beneath the filling nozzles using dedicated supports (supplied with the machine for one can format and one bottle format). Once positioned, pressing the START button lowers the filling tubes into the containers.
Once the tubes are inside, the pre-evacuation phase begins with CO2 injection. The container is then depressurized to remove air and pressurized again, starting the filling process.
When filling is complete (duration varies depending on container size), depressurization occurs and the nozzles are retracted. At this point, the system displays the required pressure release value to generate foam in the bottle or can neck, ensuring proper saturation.
