Hydropress for fruit and grapes

The hydropress for fruit and grapes uses mains water pressure to press chopped apples, destemmed grapes and other suitable fruit. Fruit must be free from pits and hard or sharp parts that could damage the membrane.

Water enters through the internally perforated AISI 304 stainless steel central shaft and expands the food-grade rubber membrane. As the membrane expands, it presses the fruit against the perforated AISI 304 stainless steel basket to extract the juice. The machine operates with very little noise.

Water-operated membrane pressing

The hydropress is connected to the mains water supply. Water pressure expands the membrane inside the basket, compressing the prepared fruit against the basket's perforated walls. The machine is intended for fruit that has been suitably prepared before pressing, such as chopped apples or destemmed grapes.

The central shaft and perforated basket are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the membrane is made of food-grade rubber. The 20, 40, 80 and 160 L models have a powder-coated aluminium lid and base. The 300 and 450 L models are entirely stainless steel.

Choosing the appropriate version

Select the required basket capacity and construction. The 20–160 L models combine painted aluminium and stainless steel components, while the 300 and 450 L versions are entirely stainless steel. Prepare the fruit before pressing and remove pits or other hard, sharp parts that could damage the membrane.
