12-Liter Bain-Marie Copper Pot Still – Coil Condenser with traditional worm (coil) cooling, made entirely of copper. The hand-forged iron frame supports both the boiler and the condenser. Supplied with an analog thermometer to read the boiler’s internal temperature and make accurate cuts—heads, hearts, and tails. Handcrafted with 1.2 mm copper. Made in Italy.
Difference vs. a traditional still
The bain-marie (double-boiler) design uses two nested boilers: the inner boiler holds the charge, while the jacket between the two is filled with water.
Advantages of a bain-marie still
Ideal for solid charges such as grape pomace and fruit, yet also excellent with liquids. It prevents scorching of solids on copper surfaces directly over the flame and ensures gentler, more even heating for a delicate extraction of aromas from fruit and pomace—consistently delivering higher quality results.
Additional details
Two tubes exit the outer boiler with different functions. The shorter, straight tube is used to fill/empty the water jacket and acts as a vent during distillation. The curved tube accepts a supplied glass sight cylinder to monitor the water level—top-ups may be required during the run due to evaporation.
From the options menu, you can customize your alembic by adding a copper mesh to keep pomace off the boiler bottom, a filter column for steam (hydro)distillation (all-copper accessories), or the wooden base.

Non ho comprato un solo alambicco, ne ho comprati bensì 2! E non posso che essere pienamente soddisfatto e felice per averlo fatto! Lo staff è stato molto gentile! Il prodotto e fatto molto bene e arrivato con un cartone ben protetto c\'e solo una piccola ammaccatura sotto dove va il fuoco \r\nquindi non danneggia il prodotto e solo brutta da vedere.\r\nUn solo accorgimento il tubino di uscita del prodotto finale si potrebbe fare di 2 cm piu\' lungo il resto e tutto ok
