The pulp filter for 2-liter copper pot stills is a perforated copper mash sieve, also known as a false bottom. Placed at the bottom of the boiler, it keeps pomace, fruit pieces and pulp away from the hot copper surface, helping to prevent scorching.
Designed for distilling pomace, chopped fruit, pulpy mashes and other solid materials, the filter helps reduce direct contact with the heated base. It is intended to support a cleaner distillation run, with less haze and bitterness.
