The large manual grape crusher is a robust, easy-to-use machine designed for small producers, hobby winemakers and farms that need to process larger quantities of grapes without using electricity.

Operation is completely manual: turning the side flywheel transfers movement to the rollers and agitator, helping the grapes move towards the crushing area. The berries are progressively crushed to help release the must, which can then be collected in a container positioned beneath the machine.

This large model is suitable for users looking for a hand-operated grape crusher with greater capacity than smaller and medium-sized models. Its indicative output is 600–800 kg/h (6–8 quintals/h), making it suitable for advanced hobby use, small farms and artisanal grape processing during the harvest.

The machine has an enamelled sheet metal body, while the loading hopper and agitator are made of stainless steel. This configuration distinguishes it from the standard large model with an enamelled sheet metal hopper and agitator.

The 28 cm self-adjusting rollers help manage the crushing process and are designed to reduce the risk of damage if solid parts pass through. The agitator helps feed the grapes towards the rollers for a more orderly and continuous process.

This machine crushes grapes but does not automatically separate the berries from the stems. If destemming is also required, a grape crusher-destemmer or grape destemmer is the more appropriate type of machine.
