Horizontal Centrifugal Grape Destemmer with Pump - Stainless Steel - 60-120 q.li/h

The horizontal stainless steel centrifugal destemmer with pump has been designed to support large wine producers thanks to its high performance. It is manufactured in Italy and made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel. It is equipped with a centrifugal basket that rotates in the same direction as the destemming shaft to prevent the stems from tearing. The loading hopper features a filter for liquid extraction, while the body is designed to ensure that no liquid stagnates inside.

This model of horizontal centrifugal destemmer is supplied with a 3, 4 or 5.5 HP motor, depending on the version chosen. The paddles on the destemming shaft are rubber-coated, and both the basket and the pump are made of stainless steel.

It can be fully opened and inspected, allowing easy maintenance and fast cleaning.

How does the horizontal centrifugal destemmer work?

The operation of the centrifugal destemmer involves feeding the grapes into the loading hopper, where there is a screw conveyor that, by rotating, carries the bunches into the centrifugal basket. The rotation produces both the crushing and the separation of the stems, which are expelled from the basket outlet. The must produced is discharged by the centrifugal pump, which can transfer it to the fermentation tanks up to 18 metres horizontally and 5 metres vertically for the smallest version, and 20 metres horizontally and 6 metres vertically for the 60 and 120 quintals per hour versions.
