These Franke sulfotannic tablets with vitamin C are used in winemaking as a wine preservative. They contain potassium metabisulfite, tannic acid and vitamin C and are designed to protect wine from haze formation and to treat casse, rope and “giro” faults.
Sulfotannic tablets are particularly useful for protecting wine stored in vessels that are not completely full, as well as for protecting wine during the summer and during transport.
Each tube contains 7 slow-release tablets of 10 g each, designed to extend their efficacy.
