Barrel mastic - also called enoplastic - is used to seal wine barrels, casks and vats against possible holes and cracks that may form between staves. It comes as a white, semi-solid paste and is made from high-purity fatty substances.
It is odourless and long-lasting, as it does not develop mould or turn acidic. Its key features - adhesion, impermeability and stability - ensure a perfect seal for barrels and optimal tightness.
The barrel mastic is supplied in 500 g slabs.
