50-liter Copper Still - Mushroom Condenser (Alembic)

The 50-liter copper pot still with mushroom condenser is a handcrafted Italian alembic designed for distillation. Made entirely of copper with a thickness of 1.2 mm, it features a direct-cooling system and includes an analog thermometer for monitoring boiler temperature and guiding the separation of heads, hearts and tails during distillation.

Handcrafted in Italy by master artisans specialising in copperworking, this copper alembic still is suitable for producing spirits such as grappa, brandy, whisky and fruit distillates, as well as high-proof alcohol such as vodka. It can also be used to produce essential oils for perfumes, liqueurs and remedies.

The still can be customised through the options menu by adding a copper mesh or pulp filter to prevent pomace from coming into direct contact with the boiler bottom, or a filter column required for steam distillation. All accessories are made of copper.

Available Options

• Pulp filter: useful when distilling solid materials, such as pomace and fruit pieces, to prevent direct contact with the boiler bottom.
• Filter column: typically used for essential oil extraction through steam distillation, keeping herbs out of the water. It can also be used for fruit spirits, where it improves dephlegmation.
