The heating belt for beer fermenters, also known as a brew belt, is designed to warm the wort during fermentation when ambient temperatures are too low.

Wrap the belt around the fermenter to generate heat and bring the wort to the desired fermentation temperature. The belt is designed for use with plastic fermenters with a maximum capacity of 33 litres and features an adjustable length system to fit different sizes.

Positioning the brew belt according to room temperature

  • Room temperature 10–16 °C: position the belt 4 cm from the bottom;
  • Room temperature 16–20 °C: position the belt 10 cm from the bottom;
  • Room temperature 21–24 °C: position the belt in the middle of the fermenter;
  • Above 24 °C: unplug the belt.
