The cotton conical filter bag is made entirely in Italy from natural cotton fibre, finished with potato starch to give the fabric rigidity.
Each filter bag is tested for compliance with food-contact requirements under Italian Ministerial Decree DM 21.03.73 and subsequent amendments. It has also undergone sensory testing according to UNI EN 1230-2 in compliance with Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, with no perceptible changes in organoleptic properties detected.
The filter bag is suitable for filtering wine, liqueurs, infusions, beer and malted grains and is fitted with hanging loops made from the same fabric.
