Chamfered 1+1 cork stoppers 26×40 mm are supplied in packs of 100, already paraffined and ready for use. This type of cork, called “birondellato”, has two natural cork discs at the ends in contact with the wine, and is recommended for bottling young wines for storage periods of no more than 18 months. The cork stopper is suitable for Bordeaux, Rhine and similar bottles.
