50-Liter Steam Distillation Still - Coil Condenser (Copper)

The 50-liter steam distillation still – coil condenser, also known as an essential oil distiller, uses a coil-cooling system and a filter column fitted between the boiler and the pre-chamber to improve reflux and filtration. Made entirely of copper, it includes a thermometer to read the boiler’s internal temperature so you can separate the heads, hearts, and tails of the run. Handcrafted by Italian master artisans, the base has a thickness of 1.03 mm. This setup is ideal for steam distillation/hydrodistillation of botanicals to obtain essential oils and aromatic water (hydrosol).

It is suitable for the production of essential oils (perfumes, liqueurs, remedies) and spirits (grappa, brandy, whisky, fruit distillates, etc.). It can also be used for high-proof alcohol such as vodka, where legally permitted.

We recommend pairing the extractor with a separating funnel to simplify the separation of essential oils from the aromatic water.
