The 300-litre chestnut wood barrel is the classic cellar container and the ideal product for storing wine and vinegar. It is handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans to ensure a high-quality product that fully reflects Italy's rich winemaking heritage.
It is made of several chestnut wood staves held together by a variable number of iron hoops, depending on the barrel’s capacity. The top of the barrel features a hole, also called a bung hole, used during filling operations, while a tap hole must be applied on one of the two side faces (the barrel is usually supplied without this hole, which should be added by the user in the desired position and flow capacity).
The barrel has always been one of the most used products in cellars for winemaking and storing our beloved wine.
