Granular Sepiolite is the optimal, safe, and natural solution to protect your plants from slugs. It is composed entirely of mineral sepiolite and is suitable for both outdoor use and balcony gardening.
This mineral granulate forms an effective physical barrier that keeps slugs and snails away from the plants they feed on through a purely mechanical action. The product is resistant to rain and weather, maintaining its effectiveness for a long time after application. The coarse grain of the inert sepiolite granules, which are absorbent and have sharp edges, creates a ground surface that is difficult for slugs to cross. Importantly, slugs are not harmed—they are simply repelled from the protected area. This makes it a safe, chemical-free solution that poses no risk to pets, wildlife, or humans.
Before applying, manually remove any slugs from the area to be protected. Then spread a continuous strip of product, 2–3 cm wide and about 1 cm high, around the plants or beds. On average, 200 grams of product is enough to create one linear meter of barrier.
Once its function is complete, the mineral granules can be incorporated into the soil. No waiting period is required between application and harvest.
