23-Liter Steam Distillation Still - Mushroom Condenser (Copper)

The 23-liter steam distillation still – mushroom condenser, also known as an essential oil distiller, is ideal for the steam distillation (hydrodistillation) of all types of essential oils. It features a direct-cooling “mushroom” head and a filter column fitted between the boiler and the pre-chamber to enhance reflux and filtration. Made entirely of copper, it includes an analog thermometer to monitor the boiler’s internal temperature.

This essential oil alembic is handcrafted in Italy by master copper artisans and has a base thickness of 1.03 mm.

Beyond essential oils, it can be used for spirits (grappa, brandy, whisky, fruit distillates, etc.) and for high-proof alcohol such as vodka, where legally permitted.

We recommend pairing the extractor with a separating funnel to simplify separation of essential oils from the aromatic water (hydrosol).
