1000 L Stainless Steel Wine Tank with Conical Bottom and Oil Floating Lid
Enotoscana1000 L stainless steel conical bottom wine tank with oil floating lid, designed for winemaking and ideal when you need more efficient handling of lees/deposits, draining and cleaning. This is a Made in Italy tank built from AISI 304 stainless steel (18/10), with a mirror-polished interior and a “fiorettata” (patterned) external finish.
The oil floating lid system helps reduce oxidation: the stainless steel lid rests directly on the wine surface and vaseline oil (oenological oil) is poured around the edge to fill the gap between the lid and the tank wall, creating a barrier against air. The lid automatically lowers as the wine level drops.
The conical bottom directs residues downwards, making draining easier. The tank is supplied with a dust cover and includes a sample tap for quick product checks.
